Murphy beds for a 7-foot ceiling (84 inches)
Seven feet is common in basements and in rooms under a slope. At 84 inches a standard vertical queen is out of reach for every maker that states a figure. Horizontal beds and cabinet beds carry this page.
Of the 84 setups in the data, 4 have a maker-stated minimum ceiling at or under 84 inches, 29 state a higher minimum, and 30 state none but have a cabinet shorter than 84 inches. Cabinet beds (6 setups) stand on the floor and are not limited by the ceiling.
