Murphy beds for a standard 8-foot ceiling (96 inches)

At 96 inches nearly every bed with a stated minimum fits. The interesting part of this page is the second list: beds whose makers do not state a minimum, so the honest answer is that we do not know.

Of the 84 setups in the data, 33 have a maker-stated minimum ceiling at or under 96 inches, 0 state a higher minimum, and 45 state none but have a cabinet shorter than 96 inches. Cabinet beds (6 setups) stand on the floor and are not limited by the ceiling.
